Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your request is processed, your profile, credentials, custom study packs, learning notes, and progress history cannot be recovered or restored under any circumstances.
1. Overview
Lerniva provides all registered users with the absolute right to delete their accounts and permanently remove their personal information from our databases.
2. How to Request Deletion
We provide two direct paths to remove your account and delete your data:
1Via the Mobile App
Log into your Lerniva account on the mobile app, navigate to Settings > Account, and select Delete Account. Confirm your password to immediately initiate the automatic deletion sequence.
2Via Web/Email Request
Send an email to [email protected]from the email address registered with your Lerniva account. Simply specify "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
3. What Data is Permanently Deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following records are permanently and irreversibly purged from our servers within 7 days:
Your full name, email address, password hashes, and profile photo.
Your custom study progress metrics, lecture reading history, notes, folders, and flashcard sets.
Direct guidance logs and goals formed in mentor relations.
Custom study session logs, prompts, and hint histories from the AI Assistant.
4. What Data is Retained?
To preserve institutional records and cohort grading structures, the following data is handled as follows:
Answers submitted for school-assigned tests and exam-grade assessments are kept in institutional records for academic auditing, but are fully decoupled from your personal profile (anonymized) to ensure they cannot be linked back to your identity.
System operation telemetry is anonymized and aggregated for analytics and performance tracking.
5. Data Deletion Timeline
Once an app-initiated or email-based deletion request is received, our database script processes the removal of all personal identifiers within **7 business days**. Any backup snapshots containing your data are automatically overwritten within **30 days** in accordance with our disaster recovery schedules.
